The Treasurer’s Office holds annual conferences across the state to educate women about financial management and entrepreneurship and to encourage networking among woman-run businesses. Thanks to our corporate partners, we are able to offer these conferences free of charge.

"Recession-Proof Your Finances"

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the conference will follow from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 12 at the Heartland Community Church, 1280 S. Alpine Road, Rockford. State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias will be the keynote speaker. Opening plenary speaker will be Seattle Sutton, businesswoman and founder of Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating.
